2007 Tournament News
The 2007 WTT National Championship tournament was held in Indian Wells, California on November 1 - 4. Three Twin Cities Boston Scientific corporate WTT teams brought back honors. The Boston Scientific 4.5 team finished first, the 4.0 team placed third, and the 3.5 team finished second in their respective divisions. A record 51 recreational and corporate teams, representing 16 states, competed in 10 different divisions. The weekend tournament kicked off with a clinic hosted by WTT co-founder Billie Jean King. 2008 World TeamTennis National Tournament
The 2008 WTT National Championship tournament will be held in Indian Wells, California October 31 – November 2. The tournament will take place at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden (home of the Pacific Life Open) in Indian Wells, California. The facility features more than 20 courts spread across 88 acres. For more information on Indian Wells, see the Indian Wells Web site . Winners of the Twin Cities 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 corporate divisions are eligible to participate. The winning Twin Cities corporate teams advance directly to Nationals (there are no regionals or sectionals).
Eligibility
All players must be age 18 or older, must be current WTT members, and must have played in at least two matches for the qualifying team. The team must have played at least three matches locally. 50% of the team attending Nationals must be employees. Each team must have a minimum of two employees playing in each match. Each team may add one additional player to their roster as long as that person played at least two matches locally for another team during the season from which the winning team has qualified.
